Go delivers sub millisecond latency for our Amazon Cognito Lambda triggers, handling pre signup, post signup, custom auth, and custom messaging flows. Our media processor also runs on Go for blazing fast image and video handling. Google built Go specifically for high concurrency systems. Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform are all written in Go. We use it where milliseconds matter.
We use two database engines because they solve different problems. PostgreSQL (via AWS RDS) gives us relational integrity for user accounts, transactions, and financial data with ACID compliance. DynamoDB gives us NoSQL speed for social feeds, activity streams, and real time data at any scale. Apple, Amazon, and Robinhood use this same dual database pattern. Each query hits the engine optimized for it.
Every piece of our cloud infrastructure is defined in code (Terraform HCL), version controlled, and auditable. Our Kubernetes deployments use Helm charts for reproducible, consistent environments. This means disaster recovery in minutes, not days. Every deployment is identical to production. No manual server configuration, no configuration drift, no surprises. This is how enterprise teams operate at scale.
Our platform runs 9+ independent microservices: User, Wallet, Feed, Inbox, Notification, Config, Media Processor, AI Worker, and Gateway. Each service scales independently. The feed service can handle a traffic spike without affecting the wallet. Updates deploy to any single service without touching the rest. Zero downtime updates, domain ownership per team, and fault isolation are built in from day one.
A monolingual stack is a sign of compromise. We use Go where speed is critical, Python for AI/ML and rapid API development, Solidity for blockchain smart contracts, Swift and Kotlin for native wallet security, C++ for blockchain core, C# for Unity gaming, TypeScript for type safe frontends, and HCL for infrastructure. Each language was selected because it is the best tool for that specific domain. That is polyglot engineering.
